KINGSPORT – Ridgefields’ residents shouldn’t be too surprised if they happen to walk out their back door and spot a black bear nosing through the garbage or raiding the vegetable garden.
A Thursday afternoon attempt to arrest an alleged stalker triggered a lengthy standoff in Ridgefields subdivision, culminating with two police officers being shot and the suspect later found dead in his home.
A new sidewalk and upgraded waterlines are going in along the entire stretch of Pendragon Road, from the circle to just past the Club at Ridgefields. Upgraded waterlines are also going in along the roads that branch off from Pendragon, except for Forestdale Road.
Long-time tennis pro Reedy Toney has returned to Ridgefields Country Club to share his passion for tennis with members of all ages.
