Letters to the Editor

Trump claims he may not accept the results of the November election, thus suggesting he may not leave office if he loses.

On numerous occasions he’s claimed to be “the law and order president” and a "defender of the Constitution.” If he does (hopefully) lose the election and if either of these claims is correct, he will abide by the 20th Amendment of his beloved Constitution by leaving office on Jan. 20, 2021, sharply at noon.

Further and absent a clear presidential election winner, the speaker of the House would serve as “acting president” under the current succession law as defined by the Constitution. Hence, Nancy Pelosi would "legally" be declared acting president while Trump would be ushered out of the White House and be sent packing to another swamp somewhere in Florida.
