Kingsport Police are looking for a man who allegedly made "clones" of people's debit cards to make multiple purchases totaling nearly $2,750.

According to a press release, on Oct. 5 at approximately 5 p.m., a black male suspect used nine different debit cards to make multiple purchases totaling nearly $2,750 at an area Walmart. The suspect is alleged to have purchased pre-paid Visa gift cards during every transaction.

All nine of the debit cards were traced back to a different victim's account. The unusual part was each victim still had possession of their own debit card. Somehow, counterfeit "clones" of the debit cards were obtained and used.

If anyone recognizes the suspect in the phote, they are asked to contact KPD detectives at 423-229-9429 or Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
