BLUFF CITY — An early morning fire destroyed a building at the Tri-Cities Flea Market on Saturday, according to multiple agencies that battled the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

Fire crews were dispatched to the scene at 4571 Hwy 11E in Bluff City shortly after 1 a.m. to find one building fully engulfed, according to multiple agencies.

Members from the East Sullivan County Fire Department responded at approximately 1:30 a.m. to assist the Bluff City Fire Department with the structure fire, the agency announced on its Facebook page.

"Despite heavy heat and flames, the fire was contained to the building of origin, which was a complete loss," the statement said, adding that other responding departments included: Piney Flats Fire Department, Avoca Fire Department, Bristol TN Fire/Rescue, Sullivan County Fire Department, and Hickory Tree Fire Department.

The Tri-Cities Flea Market, on its Twitter account, announced it would remain closed Saturday.

"Due to a fire, the Tri-Cities Flea Market will remain closed until (Sunday). Everyone involved is okay and no personal injuries were sustained. We appreciate you all and our community and especially our first responders as we navigate through this unfortunate time."
