BRISTOL, Tenn. — BestColleges.com, a partner with HigherEducation.com, has released its 2016 ranking of the “Best Online Colleges in Tennessee,” and King University is ranked sixth among the other colleges and universities in Tennessee offering online degree programs.

“We are pleased to be included as a “Best Online College in Tennessee,” said Micah Crews, associate vice president of Enrollment Management at King University. “This acknowledgment is a tribute to King’s long-held tradition of academic excellence. King continues to focus on making quality education accessible. King supports four campuses and 10 additional instructional locations throughout Tennessee and Virginia and online. Our distance learners are studying online for their degree across the U.S. as well as in several other countries around the globe.”

King’s innovative online degree programs are designed to open the availability of an undergraduate or graduate degree to students and adult learners, thereby helping to strengthen the regional workforce, equip a new generation of education and healthcare professionals, and provide improved quality of life throughout Tennessee and Virginia.

“As distance learning enrollments continue to rise, quality programs such as King University’s give students a flexible and affordable option for earning their degree,” said Christine Duarte, college outreach coordinator for BestColleges.com.

King University offers 16 online undergraduate and graduate degree programs including an Associate of Arts, and bachelor’s degrees in English, Business Administration, Communication, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration, History, Information Technology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Nursing (RN-BSN), Psychology, Religious Studies, and the emerging field of Health Informatics. King also offers Master of Business Administration, Master of Education in Teacher Leaders, and Master of Science in Nursing degrees.

“The King University educational experience, whether on-ground or online, is uniquely designed to help prepare students to make meaningful and significant contributions to their communities through their chosen vocation,” Crews said.
