Masters and West

Katherine Elizabeth West, of Johnson City, TN, and Drew Mark Masters, of Kingsport, TN were married on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Maple Lane Farm. Rev. Matt Korell officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Marlene West, of Johnson City, TN. She is the granddaughter of Josephine West, of Johnson City, TN, and the late Dr. John West; and the late Gerald and Barbara Ladich.
The groom is the son of Mark and Angela Masters, of Kingsport, TN. He is the grandson of Bernice Going, of Kingsport, TN, and the late Jim Going; and the late JB and Mary Sue Masters.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the alter by her father.
Ashley West, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Lauren Foster was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Amanda DeBlois, Kara Brown, Katie Masters (sister-in-law of the bride), and Hailey Myatt. Sydney Hardoby and Magnolia West (niece of the bride) were flower girls.
Ethan Gilliam served as best man. Groomsmen were: Brad Allen, Joey Austin, Eric Everding, Michael Parente, and Jonathan Proffitt. Kohwyn Witkowski and Myles West (nephew of the bride) were ring bearers.
The bride graduated from the University of Tennessee of Knoxville in 2015, where she was a member of Pride of the Southland Marching Band. She is currently employed at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
The groom graduated from the University of Tennessee of Knoxville in 2015, where he was a member of Pride of the Southland Marching Band. He is currently employed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the UT EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) IT Department. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science.
Following a wedding trip of a Western Caribbean cruise, the couple will reside in Knoxville, TN.
