Sanders, McAmis, Glover boost Lady Warriors to win

NORTON — Wise Central outlasted visiting Twin Springs on Tuesday in a nondistrict volleyball matchup.

Olivia Sanders knocked down 14 kills and the Lady Warriors prevailed 25-16, 23-25, 25-20, 25-11 over the Lady Titans.

Hannah McAmis come up with 16 digs and Caitlin Glover totaled 25 assists for Central.

Ridgeview 3, J.I. Burton 0

NORTON — The Lady Wolfpack swept the nondistrict match with the Lady Raiders, winning 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

Haley Mullins and Brooke Frazier combined for 14 kills and 10 aces for Ridgeview. Alyssa Price tallied 13 assists, three kills and four aces, Leah Newberry had four kills and a block, and Kassidy Rasnick contributed seven assists.

Alyssa Hollinger had six kills and six digs, Breanna Motz recorded 14 digs and Bailey Sturgill had 10 assists and two aces for J.I. Burton.

Thomas Walker 3, Lee 0

BEN HUR — Talyn Dibrell had 10 kills and four blocks to lead the Lady Pioneers to the nondistrict road win, a 25-17, 25-16, 25-17 decision.

Bella Schwartz posted a double-double of 13 service points and 18 assists for Thomas Walker. Savannah Hall had 13 service points and 12 digs and Madison Mayes had 10 service points and four kills.

John Battle 3, Lebanon 1

BRISTOL, Va. — The Lady Trojans came out on top in a four-setter with the Lady Pioneers, winning 25-22, 25-13, 20-25, 25-16.

Emma Harmon had 10 kills, Zoie Long added nine kills and Keelie Pippen recorded 23 assists for John Battle.

Averie Price and Kara Long combined for 28 kills and 47 kills for Lebanon. Jaylee Stanley added 29 assists, and Haley Finney chipped in with three aces and 17 digs.

Honaker 3, Castlewood 0

HONAKER — The Lady Tigers swept the nondistrict clash, 25-13, 25-19, 25-16.

Anneliese White had five kills and a block, and Janakay Kiser added five kills and an ace for the Lady Blue Devils in the loss.

Tennessee High 4, Volunteer 1

BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Lady Vikings notched another District 1-AAA win inside Viking Hall by fending off the Lady Falcons 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 25-14.

Tennessee High (11-4, 2-2) extended its winning streak to seven.

Kloey Tester finished with a double-double of 15 kills and 10 digs, and Kenzie Nickels added 10 kills to the Lady Vikings’ cause. Riley McCracken dished out 22 assists and Evie Cozart led the defense with 15 digs.
