Much like last week in the Mountain 7 Conference Track and Field championships, the Ridgeview girls and Union boys dominated the competition in the Region 2D championships at Virginia High.
The TSSAA’s five-sport state championship chase in the 25th annual Spring Fling runs Tuesday through Friday in Murfreesboro. Titles are up for grabs in baseball, softball, soccer, tennis and track.
Among Saturday’s multiple-event winners at Coeburn, Thomas Walker’s Jake Davis took the title in the 200 and in the high jump.
