Chelsea Sams belted a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to set the tone for the Lady Patriots. Emma Timbs added a home run of her own later in the frame.
Sullivan East put up five two-out runs in the fourth inning to build an 11-1 advantage.
Sams, who also doubled in the game, finished 3-for-5 with four RBIs. Timbs went 2-for-2, scored three times and drew a pair of walks.
Autumn Moore added a 2-for-2 effort and Jillian Shackelford was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for East.
Caroline Cavin had two hits, including a double, for the Lady Rebels.
Sullivan Central 9, Happy Valley 7
Sullivan Central (6-19) produced enough offense to stay alive.

Happy Valley (10-26) scored four runs in the seventh, which included Claire Johnson’s two-run single as a part of her 2-for-4 game. Laura Rice drove in a pair of runs in the fifth inning.
The Lady Cougars’ Courtney Willis went 4-for-4 one night after going 3-for-3.
Alexa Chandler was 2-for-3 with three RBIs. She launched a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth.
Cierra Southerland put up a 3-for-4 effort for the Lady Warriors.
Unicoi County 10, Elizabethton 0, 5 innings
The top-seeded Lady Blue Devils (32-8) pounded out three home runs in the rout of the Lady Cyclones (13-19).
Pitcher Allee Griffith hit a two-run home run in the first to help herself. The next inning, Carly Kinsler belted a solo homer to left before Haley Hawkins boomed a two- run shot.
Griffith and Kinsler finished with two hits apiece.
Griffith tossed the complete-game shutout and allowed just a pair of Elizabethton hits. She struck out four.
Maggie Johnson and Haley Fair accounted for the base hits for Elizabethton.
Monday’s slate of games begins with Unicoi County taking on Sullivan East at 5:30 p.m. in the winners’ bracket final. At 7 p.m., Sullivan Central plays Elizabethton in an elimination contest.
Sullivan South returns to action on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in a losers’ bracket matchup with the winner between Sullivan Central and Elizabethton.
