Timmy was preceded in death by his Dad, Jack Stallard; grandparents, Orbin and Arlie Stallard, step Mamaw Georgia Stallard, John L. Compton, Dale and Virginia Dockery along with several aunts and uncles.
Left to carry on his legacy and cherish his memory are his Mother, Florence and his twin brother Tommy; aunts, Dorothy Stallard, Shirley Compton, Clarice (Kenneth) Meade, Linda (Martin) Gillenwater, and Delores Ford; special uncle, John L. (Louise) Compton. His best friend, Beverly Quillen and a host of loving cousins and friends.
Timmy (alongside his brother, Tommy) was a self-employed farmer. His love for all aspects of farming included raising beef cattle, attending bull sales and gardening. Timmy was a true outdoorsman who loved deer hunting trips to Bath County from 1983 to present. He also enjoyed working on machinery and all types of shop work. Timmy was a compassionate, loving man who cherished every moment spent with his family and friends. The bond he had with his twin brother will last thru eternity. He was one of the biggest fans of the Twin Springs Titan basketball team.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 4-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home in Weber City, VA. Funeral services will be at 8:00 PM with Rev. Rance Edwards and Rev. Steve Collins officiating. Music will be provided by Jamie Salyer.
Graveside services will be Friday, February 14, 2020 at Holston View Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:15 to go in procession. Pallbearers will be John L. “Bubba” Compton, Gary Compton, Barry Compton, Mike Compton, Adam Meade, Luke Gillenwater, Jarvis Vicars, Jeff Stansberry, Tyler Dockery, Ronnie Hale, Preston Quillen, and Greg Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be James Hale, Wendell Burke, Todd Hale, Brandon Webb, and members of the Twin Springs Titan basketball team.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Twin Springs High School Athletic Department, 273 Titan Lane, Nickelsville, VA 24271.
