KINGSPORT — Cinema Under the Stars — a popular outdoor event held at Bays Mountain Park — is returning this fall for two nights of cinematic entertainment.

Over the past two years, the park has invited folks to visit the amphitheater for an outdoor movie, surrounded by the natural beauty and sounds of Bays Mountain. And if you do come, be sure to bring a blanket, along with your family and friends, and enjoy a movie under the stars.

Gates open an hour before the movie begins and tickets are $5 each for ages 6 and above. Children ages 5 and under are admitted for free. The amphitheater features bleacher seating, so you won’t need to bring your own chair, although stadium seats are allowed. Please no food or drinks. Concessions will be available for purchase. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit Bays Mountain Park.

— Sept. 7 at 8:30 p.m. — “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe” (rated PG)
