KINGSPORT — A Bristol, Tennessee, man has been arrested after allegedly parking his car in the driveway of an elderly Kingsport resident, then pulling a shotgun and making threats when asked to move.

According to records at the Kingsport Police Department, the incident occurred at about 3:15 Sunday afternoon on Aaron Way. A woman told police that as she was playing in the snow with her children, she saw an unknown man cussing and arguing with her neighbor.

Meanwhile, another woman told police that the suspect was her ex-boyfriend. She said he had visited her home uninvited and parked his car in her neighbor’s driveway.

When that resident, age 71, told him he couldn’t park there, the suspect allegedly pulled a shotgun out of his vehicle and pointed it at the victim, threatening, “You want some of this, old man?” He then drove away in his car.

The suspect, Brandon Odell, 29, was later located by Bristol, Tennessee, police at his home on York Drive in Bristol. He was taken into custody and transported to the Kingsport city jail.
