MOORESBURG — The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the community to locate a missing 53-year-old Mooresburg woman who went missing from her home last Wednesday.

Barbara Ann Kelley was last seen walking from her residence on County Line Road, Mooresburg, on Oct. 17.

Kelley had recently been hospitalized for heart problems, and left all of her medications at her residence.

Her daughter stated she left the residence on foot around 1:20 p.m. that afternoon following an argument. The daughter stated she thought her mother was just going somewhere “to cool off”, and would return later because she doesn’t have any other friends or family in the area.

Kelley also left all her belongings in a vehicle at the residence including her cell phone, money, I.D. and prescription medication.

She is described as 5’2’’ and 115 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone who has information or has seen Kelley is asked to contact Hawkins County Central Dispatch at 423-272-7121 or HCSO Detective Ken Sturgill at 423-272-4848.
