There is no registration fee or cost to attend. Vendors receive one complimentary table. The event will feature a Hawaiian theme and vendors are encouraged to participate.
The expo will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Kingsport City Schools is seeking kid-friendly organizations as vendors for the event, which will include free carousel rides, access to a playground and other activities and some giveaways.
According to KCS Communications Editor Marybeth McLain, organizations that can answer “yes” to one of these three questions, should reserve a table:
1.) Do you offer lessons, athletics or other fun and educational opportunities for Kingsport children?
2.) Do you offer programs, services and activities for children in the Kingsport City Schools area?
3.) Do you have important information to share with local children and their families?
“This is a great resource for families, and there will be live entertainment, free carousel rides for the duration of the event, access to the carousel playground and other fun activities for the children of Kingsport,” McLain said. “In celebration of the 10th annual event, 10 brand new backpacks filled with new school supplies will be given away. The raffle drawing will be located at the Kingsport City Schools Communications Department table.”
Vendor tables may be reserved until Monday, July 22, by contacting McLain at (423) 378.2123 or [email protected] She said the event would not be possible without support from its partners, the city of Kingsport and Kingsport Cultural Arts.
