“The State of Your Kingsport Chamber Holiday Breakfast is becoming a very popular event and is the perfect way for us to end our year,” said Miles Burdine, Kingsport Chamber president and CEO. “With a huge crowd expected, the breakfast provides to us the perfect opportunity to highlight our many achievements from the past year, honor your Kingsport Chamber Lifetime Member recipient, preview what’s ahead for this great organization in 2018 and recognize and thank our many wonderful volunteers, members and sponsors who make Kingsport a great place to do business, visit, live and raise a family.
“Because our Annual Dinner, which is our primary fundraiser, is so popular and continues to grow, the crowd size has become so large that the noise level in the room makes it hard to conduct official business,” Burdine added. “So two years ago we created the State of Your Kingsport Chamber Holiday Breakfast, where we could promote and talk about our accomplishments in a more focused and attentive atmosphere. And we will continue to celebrate Kingsport at your Kingsport Chamber’s Annual Dinner in February.”
What’s the date of next year’s chamber dinner?
The Kingsport Chamber 71st Annual Dinner will be Friday, February 2, 2018, at 6 p.m. at the MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center.
Tickets will go on sale in January.
