In February, Sunday Stories will celebrate Valentine's Day all month long with its special Sunday Scrapbook sections featuring photos that show "What Love Looks Like."
You're invited to share stories and photos of couples, family members and friends who exemplify "What Love Looks Like" to you. The deadline for entries will be Friday, Feb. 3.
Email your submissions to [email protected]
Keep in mind that you can write about anyone you know and love - and share photos ranging from selfies with your sweetheart to snapshots of the people you love, those who inspire you and more.
Have you heard stories about how your grandparents fought through hard times to make love work and to set your own parents on the right path? Do your own parents exemplify what love looks like to you? It might be your spouse or significant other. Maybe it's your children and the way you love them. It might even be your church family, or a favorite teacher who goes above and beyond the call of duty. Maybe it isn't a person at all. It could be your pets, food or anything else that brings love to your life.
Send your photos and your stories to [email protected] by midnight, Friday, Feb. 3.
Be sure to put "What Love Looks Like" in the subject line, and don't forget to include your full name and a way that we can contact you - just in case we have any questions. Be sure to send the photo as an attachment to an email, and not as a link to any outside site.
Not too computer savvy? That's OK, too.
You can mail your photos to: Sunday Scrapbook, Attn: Carmen Musick, Kingsport Times-News, 701 Lynn Garden Drive, Kingsport, Tenn. 37662. Just be sure they're postmarked by the Feb. 3 deadline.
We recommend that you send copies but, if you can't and you want us to return your photo, please be sure to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that we can get it back to you.
Watch our Sunday Scrapbook each week, beginning Feb. 5, to see a collection of the "What Love Looks Like" photos in print. And be sure to look for all of the photos in our weekly online galleries at TimesNews.net.
