Connor Lane dropped in 20 points and the Twin Springs boys basketball team bowled over the Eagles 62-38 in a Cumberland District collision between the Scott County rivals.
Lane knocked down three 3-pointers, part of the Titans’ 10 for the game. Brad Owens added 15 points, hitting two 3s.
Rye Cove also got in on the long- distance shooting by making eight from 3-point range. Mason Harding paced the Eagles with 11 points.

NORTON — Trey Culbertson led the charge for the Raiders, powering up 21 points in a Cumberland District home win.
J.I. Burton improved to 10-4 overall and 3-1 in the district. Castlewood fell to 4-8, 1-3.

BEN HUR — The Wolfpack outscored the host Generals 33-26 in the second half to pull out the Mountain 7 victory.
Gabe Brown was tops for Ridgeview with 14 points and Trenton Adkins added 11.
Jacob Whitaker fired in 14 points, Jaxon Collier had 13 and Dylan Fannon finished with 12 for Lee.
ABINGDON 76, WISE CENTRAL 68
WISE — Chase Hungate put up 19 points to power the Falcons to the Mountain 7 District road win.
Jake O'Quinn chipped in with 18 points and Jake Thacker had 13.
Elijah Hayes did all he could for the Warriors, lighting up the scoreboard with 32 points — including four buckets from downtown. Isaiah McAmis finished with 14 points, and Brody Allison netted 11.
UNION 61, JOHN BATTLE 44
BRISTOL, Va. — Alex Rasnick put up 18 points, Sean Cusano added 13 and Noah Jordan had 11 to lead the Bears to the Mountain 7 road win.
Zach Smith was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 18 points, and Bryson Almany finished with 11.
ELIZABETHTON 81, SULLIVAN EAST 68
ELIZABETHTON — The Cyclones pulled away late at the free-throw line and moved into second place in the Three Rivers Conference standings.
Jake Roberts hit four 3-pointers and had a team-best 23 points for Elizabethton. Nico Ashley scored 20 points, Parker Hughes and Donta Earnest each had 13 and William Willocks added 10.
Dylan Bartley fired up 27 points for Sullivan East. Ethan Bradford and Eric Hare each netted 11.
TENNESSEE HIGH 89, SULLIVAN CENTRAL 47
BLOUNTVILLE — Thirteen players scored for the Vikings in their blowout Big 7 win.
Nolan Wishon had 14 points and Aidan Carter 12 points to show the way. Cole McBrayer with 11 points and Isaiah Smith with 10 also reached double figures.
Joltin Harrison totaled 15 points and Bryson Crabtree had 12 for Sullivan Central.

WASHBURN — The Eagles got off to a fast start in the road win.
Adam Pigeon led the way with 10 points and seven rebounds, and Gavyn Etter and John Gewelke each scored 10 points. Martin added eight points and seven rebounds.
Skyler Hurst paced the Pirates with 18 points. Rance Shipe added 17 points, hitting five 3-pointers.

JOHNSON CITY — Noah Gilder scored 16 points and the Lions avenged a season-opening loss to the Knights.
Freshman guard Sam Allister paced Providence with 20 points. Chris Miller finished with 14.

BRISTOL, Va. — Jada Smith recorded her 1,000th career point and finished with 19 to lead the Lady Bears to the Mountain 7 road win.
Smith’s milestone point came at the free-throw line with a minute left in the game.

WISE — Peyton Carter scored 17 points and Emily Breeding added 14 to boost the Lady Falcons to the Mountain 7 win.
Hannah Large was the leading scorer for the Lady Warriors with 13 points, including three 3-pointers. Jill Sturgill finished with 12 points.
TWIN SPRINGS 49, RYE COVE 15
NICKELSVILLE — Aubrey Powers scored 18 points and the Lady Titans overpowered their Scott County rivals. Erin Larkin chipped in with 12 points in the Cumberland win.
Sarah Cupova was the leading scorer for Rye Cove with six points.
SULLIVAN EAST 60, ELIZABETHTON 50
ELIZABETHTON — Hayley Grubb scored 18 of her 22 points in the second half to lead the Lady Patriots to the Three Rivers win.
Jenna Hare had 19 points and Riley Nelson finished with 10 for East, which opened the second quarter on a 14-2 run to erase a 10-point deficit.
Lina Lyon posted a dozen points to lead Elizabethton. Morgan Headrick had 11 for the Lady Cyclones, followed by Kaylen Shell with 10.
SULLIVAN CENTRAL 62, TENNESSEE HIGH 31
BLOUNTVILLE — Abbey Crawford scored 14 points, Peyton Sams posted an all-around effort of 12 points, four assists and five steals and the Lady Cougars doubled up the Lady Vikings.
Jaelyn West had 10 points with seven rebounds, and Macy McClellan and Katie Horne also had 10 points each.
Kenzie Nickels was tops for Tennessee High with 10 points.
CONCORD 53, PROVIDENCE ACADEMY 49
JOHNSON CITY — Madi Mee dropped in 21 points, Mady Sulish had 15 and the Lady Lions held on despite being outscored 22-7 in the fourth quarter.
Christen Sholes had a nice go of it for Providence, netting 26 points with six 3-pointers. Katie Cross added 17 points.
