The Bucs hit 13 of 27 shots behind the arc and rolled to an 84-47 Watauga Valley Conference boys basketball victory over Sullivan North.
Kaleb Meredith led the way with 29 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Marshall Fleenor went 5-of-7 from 3-point range to end with 25 points.
Trey Williams had 23 points for the Golden Raiders. Christian Hill posted a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
VOLUNTEER 60, WEST GREENE 47
CHURCH HILL — The Falcons matched last season’s win total with their sixth victory of the season.
Brody Hunley knocked down a trio of shots behind the 3-point line en route to scoring 11 for Volunteer. Andrew Knittel was next up with 10 points, and Tucker Bellamy delivered seven.
West Greene’s Ethan Turner registered a game-high 15 points and teammate Braylen Rader accounted for 10.
MORRISTOWN EAST 61, CHEROKEE 58, OT
MORRISTOWN — Micah Simpson recorded 34 points and the Hurricanes pulled out the double-overtime win over the Chiefs in the showdown between former IMAC rivals.
Braden Ilic came through with 11 points for the home team.
Breiydon Gilliam was the leading scorer for the Rogersville squad with 20 points. Micah Jones added 11 points and Joe Nichols eight.
SCIENCE HILL 84, CLINTON 73
JOHNSON CITY — Jordan McLoyd put up 17 points, Jake Matherne had 14 points with nine rebounds, and the Hilltoppers outlasted the Dragons to remain undefeated.
Griffin Ballard, Hunter Phillips and Thomas Messimer chipped in 14 points apiece for Science Hill (11-0). Phillips also grabbed six boards, and Amare Redd added 10 points and six rebounds.
Evan Winchester put up a game-high 24 points for Clinton (4-6), which made 11 3-point shots. Jackson Garner added 17 points with four treys and Chase Lockard had 15 points, also with four 3s.
HAMPTON 81, JOHNSON COUNTY 63
HAMPTON — The Bulldogs stormed out of the gates with a 30-2 win.
Jordan Bentley had 24 points in the winning effort, and Conor Jones finished with 13 points and six assists. Caleb Oaks scored 11 points and grabbed five offensive rebounds. Morgan Lyons scored nine points and Garrett Vines dished out four assists.
Lucas Phillips led Johnson County offensively 16 points. Darren Cunningham ended with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Clayton Cross scored 13 points.
SOUTH GREENE 60, UNAKA 52
GREENEVILLE — Levi Myers scored 18 points to lead the Rebels to the hard-fought Watauga Valley Conference win.
Chase Carter aided the cause with 14 points and Ty Bailey registered 11.
Ryan Johnson hit six shots from the 3-point arc to finish with 18 points for Unaka, and Will Sexton scored 16.
J.I. BURTON 91, HONAKER 58
NORTON — Zac Campbell was on fire from downtown, knocking down six 3-pointers and totaling 31 points in the Raiders’ blowout win at home.
Trevor Culbertson came through with 15 points and Tyler Spriggs had 13 for Burton.
Grayson Honaker, with 23 points, and Trajon Boyd, with 21, accounted for almost all of the Tigers’ scoring.

GLADE SPRING — Connor Lane fired up 21 points to lead the Titans to the nondistrict victory on the road.
Brad Owens contributed 17 points and Christian Hinkle chipped in 11.
Dakota Rector hit four 3s and led the Rebels in scoring with
20 points. Cody Smith scored 14 points and Andrew Belcher 10.

EWING — Hunter Hatfield scored 21 points to help Hancock County hold off Thomas Walker.
Nate Cantwell and Tyler Harrison added 10 points apiece for the Indians.
Caleb Yeary posted a valiant effort with 29 points for Thomas Walker. Logan Ealy added 17 points.

EWING — Jake Templin dropped 20 points and Nate Fusan added 15 to power Cumberland Gap to the interstate road win on Monday night.
Logan Ealy scored 14 points to finish as the Pioneers’ leading scorer. Caleb Yeary contributed 13 points and Zack Kidwell netted 11.
SULLIVAN NORTH 51, UNIVERSITY HIGH 31
JOHNSON CITY — The Lady Golden Raiders got off to a strong start, leading 28-11 at the half, to breeze past the Lady Bucs.
Lilly Crawford paced Sullivan North with 13 points. Taylor Cochran scored 11, Maddy Winters came through with 10 and Kierra Kotte added eight.
Mauri Johnson had a 10-point effort to lead University High. Ryleigh Owens hit three shots from behind the arc to end with nine.

CHURCH HILL — The Lady Falcons held the Lady Buffs scoreless in the first quarter and went on to capture the non-conference win.
Audrey Evans paced Volunteer on the offensive end with 11 points. Aliyah Crawley was the next high scorer with nine. Kenady Knittel and Kendra Huff each scored eight. Christianna Ricker led West Greene with seven points.
MORRISTOWN EAST 44, CHEROKEE 20
MORRISTOWN — Tied 5-5 after one quarter, the Lady Trojans outscored the Lady Chiefs 14-0 during the second period on their way to the victory.
Devaisa Kyle totaled 14 points for Morristown East and Sable Burnside was right behind her with a 13-point effort. Sam Tilson and Destiny Jarnigan each scored eight to pace Cherokee.

HAMPTON — The Lady Longhorns’ Taylor Cox scored 11 points in the first quarter and 22 for the game.
Sadie Stout contributed 18 points and Emmy Miller finished with 13.
Hannah Collins was Hampton’s leading scorer with 11 points.

CLINTWOOD — Sarah Walters tipped in a bucket at the buzzer as part of her 17-point outing, lifting the Lady Falcons to the Mountain 7 overtime win.
Peyton Carter led the Lady Falcons in scoring with 20 points.
Hailey Sutherland recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 15 rebounds for the Lady Wolfpack. Brooklyn Frazier piled up 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
