This month’s employment topic is apprenticeships, which support opportunities for employees to “earn and learn.” Employer representatives and RCAM staff will be on hand to discuss apprenticeship opportunities in the Tri-Cities.
The event is free and open to the public and will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM) in Kingsport, 305 W. Main St.
The organization will host a career exploration and employment event next week, and representatives from two local companies will be on hand to discuss job opportunities.
BLOUNTVILLE — Northeast State Community College will host its annual career fair 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, April 19 in the Wellmont Regional Center for the Performing Arts on the Blountville campus.
This free and public event will provide opportunities to learn about job openings and visit with area employers. Last year’s fair drew more than 80 companies and served 300 job seekers.
With more than 70 employers and graduate schools seeking qualified candidates, there will be opportunities for full-time, part-time, internship and summer positions.
