Customers were already crowding outside a Surgoinsville barn Saturday morning an hour before the doors were supposed to open for a free giveaway of clothes and other household items.

With headquarters in Abingdon and also at Allandale Mansion in Kingsport, the 2015 Bike Virginia Tour began on Friday and will continue through Wednesday. Bikers from all across the country are traveling several mapped-out routes.
