“Well …,” the hostess said with some hesitation. “We could use some sweets, but they need to be gluten-free.” Hmmm. I have never been tasked to make something gluten-free. Some things I make just happen to be made that way, but they are not usually.

Fifteen participants came out to compete in the Youth 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament held at the V.O. Dobbins Sr. Complex on Monday, the first day of the Fall Break Activities scheduled at the complex for city students who are out of school this week.
