Kingsport Ministry empowers women through love, laughter, laundry

The Oasis of Kingsport, which opened in June at 1009 E. Sullivan St. in downtown Kingsport, is a gathering place for all women and children (including boys 10 and under), offering services to promote self-sufficiency and empowerment.

Year-round donations fuel annual Thanks for Giving event

Thanks for Giving collects donations from the community and gives the donations to needy families in the area for free. Last year saw the biggest turnout ever for the event with between 1,800 and 2,000 people showing up.

Following Delilah's death in May, Jeff and Heather Watts created the "Princess Delilah Foundation." The organization's first event is a "Bikers & Bows Poker Run" this weekend, with proceeds providing clothing for premature babies.
