Faith in Action: First Broad Street UMC supports local, national and global missions

FBSUMC began its rural mission program with John's Island, South Carolina, in 1981 with 13 participants. Mission trips have been held every summer since that time with an average attendance of 95 youth and adults.

Each month, about a dozen ladies gather and they piece together fabric into 84-inch squares, which they sandwich with blankets and stitch together into big, quilted sleeping bags.
