Man arrested after handing out candy at Kingsport park

Police responded to Domtar Park following several complaints of a man, "hanging around children and giving them candy." Officers located the suspect nearby, where he began yelling that the recipients can "burn in hell" for calling the cops.

Police were alerted to women fighting in the parking lot of a Kingsport business, "over a monkey...a real monkey." Dispatchers then learned one suspect had fled in a car with the animal: "It has been monkeyknapped."

A Big Stone Gap woman claimed someone has been throwing condoms at her home. She said they are filled with various condiments before they are tossed — including mustard and Thousand Island dressing — which leaves stains on her residence upon impact.
