Break ... What break? Volunteer Navy JROTC makes most of time off from school

Volunteer High School Navy (JROTC) cadets enjoyed a break from classes during Hawkins County Schools' annual fall break. But, while some students slept in and lounged at home, the NJROTC cadets made the most of their time off.

A new life for Titus: Neglected dog forfeited to shelter for pending adoption

HCHS assistant manager Sandy Behnke said Tuesday that Titus already had someone waiting to adopt him. They were just waiting, and hoping, for the judge to release the dog permanently to the shelter.
