Matt Clark and his son Josh call themselves dirt fishermen, and Wednesday afternoon they brought some of their Civil War era "catches" to a group of state archivists who were visiting Rogersville in search of artifacts.

Dogs rescued as blaze guts Scott County animal shelter

The 13 dogs that were being housed at the shelter have been relocated to two local vets' offices. But, if the shelter should take in any new dogs, there is nowhere to put them, as the building is a total loss.
