Hawkins BOE turns to Ailshie in director search after declining to meet Bowen's salary request

The BOE voted unanimously to decline an offer by Dr. Dixie Bowen for an overall salary of $118,000. The BOE was only willing to offer an overall salary of $103,700, which is $4,000 more than retiring director Charlotte Britton's overall salary.
