Photos: Colonial Heights couple donate plant collection to Warriors Path

Three people including an infant were asleep in their apartment when the fire started and someone kicked in their door to wake them up and get them out.

They found old tools, hammers, scissors, buckles, horseshoes, tongs, hinges, and other items, as well as a lot of slag, which is a stony waste matter separated from metals during the smelting or refining of ore.
