Senate passes half-trillion dollar farm bill

WASHINGTON — The Senate on Monday passed a five-year, half-trillion-dollar farm bill that expands government subsidies for crop insurance, rice and peanuts while making small cuts to food stamps.

A Big Stone Gap woman claimed someone has been throwing condoms at her home. She said they are filled with various condiments before they are tossed — including mustard and Thousand Island dressing — which leaves stains on her residence upon impact.
