Kingsport to sell water to North Greene Utility

The city of Kingsport plans to sell the North Greene Utility District a minimum of 600,000 gallons of water a month, under the terms of an agreement approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen last week.

Nashville Police Officer Michael Petrina, who was directing traffic on the interstate after a vehicle overturned Saturday morning near Brentwood, was killed when he was struck by a motor home on I-65 on Saturday, officials said.
