Man demands own arrest after berating clerk

While responding to a disturbance at a motel on Airport Parkway, police found a man in the breezeway, "yelling and screaming at the clerk." The frightened employee had taken up position "behind a locked door."

A 16-year-old New Jersey boy described as a thrill-seeker bypassed an inattentive security guard in the middle of the night and climbed a ladder to the spire of 1 World Trade Center, where he apparently took pictures, authorities said Thursday.

KPD: Motorcyclist killed on Fort Henry was going 109 mph

A motorcyclist recently killed in a fiery crash on Fort Henry Drive was traveling at approximately 109 mph just prior to striking a car, according to Kingsport police, and 89 mph at the point of impact.
