ROGERSVILLE - A woman accused by her probation officer of falsifying a urine test allegedly elbowed the probation company owner in the head while trying to flee before police arrived.

Ralph Buck, 54, occasionally stumbled over words. Sometimes he would skip words or mispronounce them. The students remained patient because they understood why he got tripped up. He only began reading seven years ago.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is proposing the ban of some types of 5.56 mm rounds - or .223-caliber - used in widely available and popular AR-15-style rifles because the bullets can also be used in new types of handguns.
