Though the current decorations are about a decade old, and while the weather has certainly taken its toll on them, Lynn Tully, development services director for the city, said the decorations have simply just not aged that well.

The Danish gunman who attacked a free-speech seminar and a synagogue in Copenhagen was released about two weeks ago from a jail where he may have been radicalized while serving time for a vicious stabbing.

The victim was tied up with tubing from his medical devices and bound by duct tape. A knife was held to his throat while two of the suspects searched for pain medication and money, ransacking the residence.
