Hawkins couple who killed child with grape soda receive 35-year sentence

According to the autopsy report, the Vaughns forced Alexa Linboom, 5, to drink about 2.4 liters of grape soda and water. The massive fluid intake was reportedly punishment for the girl drinking grape soda after being told not to.
