Kingsport man charged with attempted murder of stepfather

Dylan Roberts allegedly admitted to detectives that he stabbed his stepfather because the victim had allegedly assaulted his mother the week before. He reportedly told detectives that had made him angry.

Jackson eventually located the car abandoned near the intersection of Suncrest Driver and Sunset Avenue. The car was still hot and a fresh asphalt gouge was observed where the vehicle had stopped abruptly.

Man arrested with stolen U-Haul truck, $12,000 in counterfeit checks

A U-Haul truck reportedly stolen from Arizona was located in Kingsport over the weekend in the possession of an Elizabethton man, along with six counterfeit checks totaling more than $12,000, according to a police report.
