Recognizing the fact Kingsport is downstream of a leaking dam, city officials said this week they support TVA's decision to keep the water level at Boone Lake low for the next year while engineers work to resolve the seepage issue at the dam.

A woman was staying in a room on the second floor of the hotel. When the woman was unable to produce the money, the two men allegedly grabbed her and attempted to throw her over the balcony.
