Two charged with animal cruelty for allegedly abusing puppies

JOHNSON CITY - A month after six puppies were abandoned outside an area animal shelter with their tails rotting off, the individuals allegedly responsible for the pups' conditions were cited on multiple counts of animal cruelty.

ROGERSVILLE -Three people were indicted Monday by a Hawkins County grand jury in connection with the March 24 stabbing death and robbery of Jeffery Allen McNally, 47, at his home in a Carters Valley mobile home park.
