Ex-Kingsport Police officer gets 6-month jail sentence on assault charge, record can be expunged

Jason McLain, a 13-year veteran of Kingsport Police Department who resigned from the force following the September incident, was sentenced to six months supervised probation, six months of unsupervised probation and six days of community service.
