Second shooting believed linked to sniper murder in Hawkins County

ROGERSVILLE Shortly after two murder suspects in last week's fatal Wal-Mart sniper-style shooting were arraigned Monday in Hawkins County Sessions Court, the sheriff's department was investigating another shooting of a youth.

Inmates set fires at Hawkins County Jail

ROGERSVILLE Hawkins County Jail inmates were placed on lockdown Monday as a result of three instances beginning Sunday morning when the Rogersville Fire Department was called to remove smoke from the facility due to small fires being set by inmates.
