Kingsport woman escapes alleged kidnapper

Police have arrested a man who allegedly grabbed his ex-girlfriend off her front porch in Kingsport, then held her against her will for several hours before she could escape from a vehicle in Scott County, Va.

According to a press release from the Kingsport Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 10:30 Tuesday night. Officers were originally called to 106 West Charlemont Ave., Apt. 6 about a fight between two adult males.
