Volunteer Choir puts new twist on old 'Gospel Mass' - VIDEO

On Thursday the VHS Choir performs the same "Gospel Mass" that Catholic popes have enjoyed for centuries, although it's unlikely that Pope Innocent VI heard his mass accompanied by drums, piano, and an electric bass laying down a funky beat.

Thursday's "Kids Race" at Kingsport Speedway was scheduled to be a quick sprint from the end of turn four to the finish line, but the top three finishers continued on to settle their own personal contest with track officials in hot pursuit.
