With the decision made to remain in its current location, the museum soon will begin major renovations. Marcia and Marvin Gilliam have pledged $500,000 to help the museum get started.

Discovery Channel has set the date for its coverage of the first wingsuit flight off the summit of Mount Everest. A custom-made wingsuit will be equipped with cameras to capture the descent of more than 10,000 vertical feet at speeds exceeding 150 mph.
