Seven area school systems show positive trends

KINGSPORT — The Tennessee Department of Education Monday morning released 2013 Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program or TCAP and end of course tests showed sustained growth in school districts across the state.

KINGSPORT — Kingsport’s Roosevelt Elementary is among the winning schools. “Kingsport City Schools has received $13,850 to be used at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School” for 2013-14, said Jennifer Burleson, director of school nutrition services.
