WISE — The Wise County School Board on Monday agreed to open a process to accept proposals for consideration of a potential project to improve vehicular traffic patterns at its three-school complex in Big Stone Gap.

ROGERSVILLE — Two wings at Rogersville Middle School haven’t had hot water in the restrooms for at least 15 years, and none of the bathrooms at the school have dispensers for toilet paper, paper towels or soap.

KINGSPORT — Once again, the system overall got straight A’s in achievement, while value-added growth scores increased to three A’s and one B, improving from a 2012 score of B’s in science and social studies to a A’s this year.
