D-B band receives second Sudler award, this one for marching

The award falls on the heels of the band's best-ever finish in marching band, coming in second in the country in Class AAA, as well as its recent featured performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

For the fourth time in two years, the Sullivan County school system's senior accountant has resigned for a higher-paying job. So the Board of Education at its Monday night meeting likely will vote to increase the pay for the position.
