Aide, 7-year-old girls killed in Tenn. bus crash

An aspiring teacher with two children of her own and a little girl who loved to read were among those killed when two Tennessee school buses carrying children home for the day crashed on Tuesday.

The Board of Education this week voted 6-0 with one absent to approve a 2015-16 school year calendar that starts school Aug. 3, and unless all banked snow days are used, will end May 19.
