Scott Career and Technical Center expanding its options

D-B, University School ranked in top 10 of Tennessee's high schools

University School in Johnson City and Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport were ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, in Tennessee by a U.S. News & World 2015 report released Tuesday.

Volunteer Choir puts new twist on old 'Gospel Mass' - VIDEO

On Thursday the VHS Choir performs the same "Gospel Mass" that Catholic popes have enjoyed for centuries, although it's unlikely that Pope Innocent VI heard his mass accompanied by drums, piano, and an electric bass laying down a funky beat.

Giving teachers bandages and crackers to dispense instead of sending students to a school nurse for that purpose has helped decrease the number of school nurse visits this school year by almost 14,000.
