RCS TCAP scores mostly improved, but not immune to statewide decline trend

Based on 2014 TCAP accountability data released Wednesday, Rogersville City School students continue to improve in most academic categories, although the K-8 school wasn't immune to some setbacks which were experienced statewide.

Hawkins County Schools "mirrored the state" in the accountability data released by the state Wednesday for 2013-14 TCAP testing, which means math was up, but reading was down.
