Hawkins couple allegedly sold drugs that treat addiction acquired through TennCare

A Church Hill woman was named last week in a sealed Hawkins County indictment accusing her of selling narcotic medication she obtained through her TennCare benefits which is used to treat drug addiction.

Burglary suspects who were allegedly caught red-handed handing stolen items out the window of a Hawkins County residence Monday afternoon began handing the stolen items back in to the residence when police pulled up.

Man whose indoor pot farm went up in blazes sentenced to prison

Upon their arrival firefighters observed what appeared to be an indoor marijuana growing operation in the burning residence, with several plants, lights and other equipment. Firefighters then contacted the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office.
