Mom allegedly reports to jail with drugs to serve child neglect sentence

A Church Hill mom who was sentenced to 60 days in jail last week for leaving her 2-year-old daughter home alone while she went shopping is now facing a potential 3-6 year sentenced for allegedly smuggling drugs into the jail.

A Ford Focus failed to stop at the end of a parking aisle outside of Walmart on Fort Henry Drive. It traveled onto the sidewalk and through a row of shopping carts, then slammed into the side of the building.
